Good for quick projects

I tried Physion to create a simple Kinematics Simulation for a project idea. The browser access was super convenient, no download needed, and the Visual Programming Interface made it pretty easy to get started. It handled the basic gravity simulations well. My only minor gripe was that saving scenes online sometimes felt a little slow to load, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. Overall, it's a solid free tool for educational STEM work, especially if you don't need super complex exports.

Consistent and reliable

I've used Physion for several projects now, and it always delivers. This last time I was setting up a more complex Rigid Body Simulator with some custom JavaScript scripting. Just like before, the browser-based editor was quick and I had my scene up and running in under an hour. It's why I keep coming back; no installs, just consistent performance for my simulation needs.

Can I use Physion for commercial projects?

N NehaDubey 4 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Since it's open source, usually that means you can. Check their specific license terms though, just to be safe.

Is this like, something you have to download? Or can I just use it on my Chromebook?

S Sophie 3 months ago
nope, it's all browser-based. no download needed.

W Wendy Kaur 3 months ago
Totally browser based. I use it on my work laptop which has like, zero admin rights for installs, and it works perfectly. So a Chromebook should be fine too.

How does Physion compare to Algodoo?

S ShrutiSaxena 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Physion feels more modern, especially with the JS scripting. Algodoo is simpler for quick stuff.

That's what I was thinking. Algodoo feels a bit dated now.
